Script copydat.sh Crashes At checksum Program On Linux Siebel Server. (Doc ID 2231741.1)

Symptoms

As part of Siebel database upgrade process, the ancestor repository file needs to be downloaded and copied into a certain directory. For Linux environment, this copy operation is done by the script named copydat.sh. When it runs, the error below occurs at checksum utility. 

[oracle@dev01vsbl01 Linux]$ ./checksum
./checksum: symbol lookup error: ./checksum: undefined symbol: _Z9SSfprintfP6SSFILEPKtz
[oracle@dev01vsbl01 Linux]$
