Task Does not Allow More than 4000 Characters for Varchar Field (Doc ID 2306079.1)

On : 16.7 [IP2016] version, Task Based UI

ERROR

Varchar column with 4000 characters in Task throws error 'Table <?> column <?> cannot be mapped.(SBL-DAT-60208)'

STEPS

1.Create new Column with physical type :Varchar and length 4000 characters in S_SRV_REQ table

2.Add the Column to the Service Request Business component

3.Create Applet based on Service Request BC and add the field in the layout

4.Create Task view with the applet created above

5.Create task with Start - Task view - End steps.Publish and activate the task

6.Launch the task and provide the value in the field in the Task view launched.

Table <?> column <?> cannot be mapped.(SBL-DAT-60208) is returned irrespective of the value provided in the field
