Siebel Loyalty Vouchers Having Incorrect Expiration Date (Doc ID 2308330.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 07, 2023

Applies to:

Siebel Loyalty Engine - Version 16.10 [IP2016] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Siebel Loyalty Vouchers are getting the incorrect expiration date when "Expiration Period type" is set to "Days".

This can be seen when creating one voucher manually (LOY Member -> Vouchers) and assigned another one by Tier Reward. In both cases vouchers have been created with incorrect expiration date (-1 from today) with 'Expired' status. Voucher should be created with available status and with correct expiration date.

This can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Create a voucher based on the information in bookshelf (Setting Up Siebel Loyalty Programs -> Process of Setting Up Loyalty Programs -> Creating Vouchers for Loyalty Members) with parameters:

Expiry Basis: Date
Expiry Day: 15
Expiry Month: February
Years After: 1

2. Create one voucher manually (LOY Member -> Vouchers)
3. Assign another one by Tier Reward.

Due to this the users cannot use the Voucher as its already expired
