How to reset the password / recover access to a LOCAL_XE database for a Developer Local DB in IP 16 (or IP 15.5 and later)?
There are some details provided on this in Siebel Bookshelf (IP16) - Remote and Replication Manager Administration Guide > Administering Siebel Remote > Administering the Remote Client > "Resetting the Password of a Remote Client" - that basically describes this feature that was available in earlier versions (SQL Anywhere-based).
But tests indicated that for LOCAL_XE databases this method is no longer working.
