All LOVs Are Displayed for Hierarchical Picklist While Querying Data (Doc ID 2337692.1)

Goal

We have hierarchical picklist in Service Request BC (Field: INS Area, INS Sub-Area). Since this is a hierarchical picklist, while querying, it is showing the entire values with LOV type as SR_AREA. The picklist is also constrained with a calculated field.

While querying the records, the calculated field is not set and entire LOV is displayed.

Is there any way to set the calculated field while performing query record?
