Siebel Clinical - Updating Site Contacts

Customer was working with the Clinical Site and the Site Contacts child view.
Customer asked the following questions
1. If I add a contact to a site, the contact cannot be changed. Can you confirm this is expected OOB behavior?
2. Is there a way to over ride this behavior, so that you CAN change the person's name?
