UCM Intermittent WebServices Hang Behaviors on Linux Platforms (RHEL/OL) Due to Deadlocks caused by Red Hat Defect 1244002 (Doc ID 2420423.1)

ISSUE STATEMENT:

When an incoming web service is called, the component EAI tasks freezes. It stops responding and does not generate more records in the log.

All situations occur when processing the cursor of the table S_WFA_DATA in the buscomp "Workflow Process Deployment Data", and consulting different workflows.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

The behaviour occurs as follows:

1. Send inbound web service requests into Siebel EAI OM component.

2. The EAI tasks starts/runs but then freezes/hangs.

3. Nothing more is logged into the log file.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:

The expected behaviour is that the EAI tasks should perform workflow execution on the incoming message data.

WHAT IS NOT WORKING/ACTUAL RESULTS:
-------------------------------------
The actual result is that the EAI task hangs and doesn't process the incoming message.

LOSS OF FUNCTIONALITY / BUSINESS IMPACT:
--------------------------------------------
Since the task hangs, the message data is not getting processed and so the data is not available to the user and the business.
It affects the implementation schedule, since it is a disabling error for the project deployment.
