Siebel Inbound Email Stopped Working With JDK1.7 (Doc ID 2445738.1)

On : 8.1.1.14.9 [IP2014] version, Comms Server & Email Response

After upgrade the JDK 1.6.0_191 to JDK 1.7.0_191 in the SIebel Server running CommInboundRcvr with Internet SMTP/IMAP Server driver the CommInboundRcvr component started to crash.

The following could be observe on Siebel Enterprise Servr log:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Upgrade the JDK version been used on the Siebel Sever from JDK 1.6.0_191 to 1.7.0_191
2. Restart the Siebel Server
3. The CommInboundRcvr start crashing immediately after the startup.
4. No inbound email are processed.
