RHEL OS Clustering to Global Load balancer after IP16 Upgrade

In customer's current architecture, they are using LINUX OS Clustering for their Integration servers supporting various integration including MQ integration.
They also use LINUX OS Clustering for their Gateway server.
Direction from their infrastructure team is to use Global Load Balancing instead of OS Clustering.

Questions:
1) Does Siebel support Global Load Balancing instead of OS Clustering?
2) What are the considerations to convert their architecture from Clustering to Load Balancing?
3) Are there any Siebel Server parameters that has to be tunes/refined as part of this change?
