IP2017 SMC Login Fails with Incorrect Username Password Error Using Chain Certificates Imported into Siebel Keystore (Doc ID 2506870.1)

Symptoms

On : 18.11 version, Security / Authentication

When attempting to access SMC with certificate store added certs, the SMC login fails and following errors show up:

ERROR

Incorrect user or password

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced ONLY in customer environment at will with the following steps:
1. Add certificates from AD domain to the certificate store JKS on Siebel side.
2. Make sure to import certificates properly.
3. Check to see if the SMC login is successful.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot get SMC to work due to this certificates and this was causing a setback.
