Goal

The customer is trying to integrate with an external system using Basic authentication. This integration will be invoked by a WF policy once service request is Closed.
They plan to send service request information to external system using EAI HTTP Transport service with user login token.

External system is a a REST API, not Soap.  It only accepts Base64 encoded authorization. 

How to implement the String to Base64 encoding?
