Problem With Export From Siebel After Upgrade to Siebel 18 (Doc ID 2530650.1)

Symptoms

Problem with export from Assets [more than 20K], when the end user browser is closed while exporting.
Siebel Object manager starts writing to a local folder temporary file (X:\<Siebel Folder>\siebsrvr\temp\temp_file_name), and once the user closes the browser, the Object manager still has a session/thread that tries to access the server temp file but can’t anymore (SHARED_VIOLATION).


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The export should be done successfully

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Siebel application
2. Go to “Customer Product” [Asset] screen
3. Query with an account which is having lot of Assets [more than 20K].
4. Now export all those assets in CSV file.
5. During exporting, close the browser before export gets completed.
6. Object manager starts writing to a local folder temporary file (X:\<Siebel Folder>\siebsrvr\temp\temp_file_name), and once the user closes the browser, the Object manager still has a session/thread that tries to access the server temp file but can’t anymore (SHARED_VIOLATION).
