Srvrmgr Command Execution is Slow in AIX Platform (Doc ID 2594325.1)

Siebel CRM - Version 17.0 [IP2017] and later
IBM AIX on POWER Systems (64-bit)

Srvrmgr command, such as changing event logging for a component, the execution is slower in IP2017 when comparing with IP2016.

1) Login to srvrmgr at the Enterprise level
2) Execute the following command:

change evtloglvl %=1 for comp sccobjmgr_enu

The following are the timings according to the Siebel version:

IP2016 - 2 seconds
IP2017 - 10 seconds

In truss trace file it is observed 30K calls to open the /etc/hosts file.
