Symptoms

When attempting to create a new migration connection from a source environment to a target environment using  to the Siebel Migration Application the following error occurs in the migration.log.

[ERROR] 2020-09-02 08:17:11.501 [https-jsse-nio-4443-exec-3] Migration - com.siebel.migration.server.MigrationEngine:checkAlive Unable to connect to Check Alive REST URL due to exception java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out
[ERROR] 2020-09-02 08:17:11.502 [https-jsse-nio-4443-exec-5] Migration - com.siebel.migration.server.MigrationEngine:checkAlive Unable to connect to Check Alive REST URL due to exception java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out
