The following configuration was done to achieve that:

- Create a Siebel Enterprise Profile Configuration "Gplus Configuration Synchronization Component Backup Connection Parameters" with alias GplusConfSyncConnectionBackup and set parameters for the primary URL
- Using Siebel Tools, imported .sifs for the voice component provided by Genesys driver.
- Compiled and deployed the new objects into the runtime repository
- Edit the GenComm_Universal.def provide by Genesys and set the configuration definition file for import as follow:
- T-Server (Primary):
PrimaryGenCommServerURL: http://xxx.xxx.x.x:xxxx
TServerAppName: Sip Server_1
ServerHost: Gplus_CommServerSiebel_1
ServerPort: xyz - T-Server (Backup):
BackupGenCommServerURL: http://yyy.yyy.y.y:xxxx
TServerAppName:Sip Server_2
BackupServerHost: Gplus_CommServerSiebel_2
BackupServerPort:xyz
- T-Server (Primary):
- Create a new Communications Configuration in Site Map >Administration - Communications > All Configurations and imported the configuration definition file create above
- Created a Siebel user type and have associated it to the Configuration created on item 6 above at Site Map >Administration - Communications > All Configurations > Agents tab
Now when the Siebel CTI user login to Siebel the following error show up and the Siebel CTI Toolbar button are all disabled:
