Getting Error SBL-GEN-04096 When Trying To Launch A SmartScript From a Custom Applet Button (Doc ID 2732937.1)

Symptoms

When trying to launch SmartScript (SS) "MySS" from a custom button on "Contact List Applet" the user get a pop up error message right after click on the custom button to launch the SS.

Unable to load message 0x1000(SBL-GEN-04096)


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Login to Siebel Application


2. Navigate to Contact List Applet where a custom button to launch the SmartScript was added


3. On "Contact List Applet" applet click on custom button to launch the SmartScript


4. The pop up error message "Unable to load message 0x1000(SBL-GEN-04096)' show up and the SmartScript is not launched.


Changes

 Custom button added to applet launch a SmartScript usnig RunSmartScript method.
