Intermittent Login Failure - HTTP 502 Error Is Returned When Attempting To Login To Siebel Application (Doc ID 2734912.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to login to the Siebel application the following error is intermittently received:

HTTP 502 Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server

The following call stack was obtained from a memory dump file for the object manager process handling the request, which suggested a hanging situation in wait for Cloud Gateway response.

The above call stacks can be associated with OM tasks stuck in "Initializing" status.

The following error may be also found in AI/applicationcontainer/logs/UI.log file:

[ERROR] 2020-11-30 08:54:33.130 [https-openssl-nio-9001-exec-92] EAI - com.siebel.swsm.connmgr.AnonSessionStore:checkSession Unable to check JDB connection : The connection pool is empty and no connection could be created.(SBL-JCA-00310)
