Intermittent Login Failure - HTTP 502 Error Is Returned When Attempting To Login To Siebel Application (Doc ID 2734912.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to login to the Siebel application the following error is intermittently received:

HTTP 502 Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server

The following call stack was obtained from a memory dump file for the object manager process handling the request, which suggested a hanging situation in wait for Cloud Gateway response.
