Intermittent Login Failure - HTTP 502 Error Is Returned When Attempting To Login To Siebel Application

Symptoms
When attempting to login to the Siebel application the following error is intermittently received:
HTTP 502 Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server
The following call stack was obtained from a memory dump file for the object manager process handling the request, which suggested a hanging situation in wait for Cloud Gateway response.
