EIM Export Not Working With Custom CLOB Column

Symptoms
Custom CLOB column in custom table that is mapped with EIM table mapping, the data does not export in EIM table. For the other non-CLOB columns the export is working.
The EIM log indicates fully successful export, no errors logged, and the CLOB column does not have any reference in the log.
