Workflow Process Manager and EAIObjMgr Crashes Sporadically When Using an External Business Compoent (EBC), Call Stack Show Method SSAFormatStringHelper (Doc ID 2768869.1)

Symptoms

The Workflow Process Manager component start crashing intermitently but very frequently. The behavior could also be observed sporadically in Siebel EAIObjMgr component.

The crashes are happening always on some workflow steps that manipulate a External Business Component, either a Siebel Operation to query or update the EBC or some custom business services that also manipulate some External Business Component.

The callstack on the Linux Siebel Server when the component crash is:

The callstack above is similar to the one described in Document OM Crash With EBC And SQL Tagging (Doc ID 2519030.1) but in this case the 'OM SQL Tagging' event type log level has not been increase and it is set to default value 1
