After Install Debugger Service, It Is Not Starting Due To "error code 1" Error (Doc ID 2770193.1)

After successfully execute InstallDbgService.bat from SIEBEL_SERVER_ROOT_DIR such as C:\siebel\ses\siebsrvr\bin the DbgService show up in Windows Services as expected.

Now the administrator click on Start Service button on Services window and the follow pop message show up:

After that the DbgService does not goes to Status = Running and the Siebel Debugger Service fails on Windows.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Install the new Debugger Service executing SIEBEL_SERVER_ROOT_DIR\bin\InstallDbgService.bat

  2. A new DbgService can be found on Windows Services window.

  3. Select DbgService and click on Start Service green arrow on Services window

  4. The pop up message show up and the DbgService does not enter on Running Status.
