Symptoms
After upgrading from OBIEE 12.2.1.4 to OAS 5.5, when running 'Update Count' in a Segment, the following error is observed:
Job request of type "GetCount" failed.
To reproduce the issue:
1- Apply Patch 32555446 to resolve the error documented in Creating And Editing Segments In OAS 5.5 Gives Errors kmsgPickerUIJSCantAddColumns is not defined And Uncaught TypeError: this aMenuOptions is undefined (Doc ID 2769411.1)
2. In Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) Presentation User Interface, in the Catalog, select any Segment or have a new created.
3. Click on the 'Edit' link to edit the Segment if the case.
4. Click on the 'Update Counts' button in the Segment.
