Tools - New And Undo Operations On Workflow Policy Object Deletes Entire Content Of 7 Tables (Doc ID 2792820.1)

In Tools when doing  New and Undo Workflow Policy Object one will see that these operations deletes the entire content of the following 7 tables:
S_ASGN_CND_INTL
S_ASGN_CNDT
S_ASGN_CNDTATTR
S_ASGN_DCMP_COL
S_ASGN_DYN_COMP
S_ASGNOBJ_UPROP
S_ESCL_LINK_COL

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. In Tools go to Workflow Policy Objects in the object explorer
2. Create a new Workflow Policy Object. You may have to lock a project first to be allowed
3. When you have the new record, press escape / undo record
4. The operation takes a long time and cause the deletion of all data  from the above mentioned tables.
