Siebel Inbound REST API Calls Frequently Fail With HTTP 500 Error , Access to Resource xxxxx of type Business Service is denied(SBL-DAT-00825) and Timeout waiting for idle object (Doc ID 2820807.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading 20.11 or higher , the inbound Rest JDB pool is getting exausted every 30 minutes or so.

In siebel_1.log the following errors are seen:

 



The issue can be reproduced at will by repeatedly making an inbound REST call to invoke a business service for which the user does not have access to in Business Service Access List.
