Applet Menu/Settings Not Opening If The View And Applet Names Are Same (Doc ID 2828735.1)

Symptoms

On : 21.9 version, Client Functionality


Applet Menu/Settings icon is not working in some Applets.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Siebel Tools/WebTools

2. Create Dev workspace under MAIN(example :- TestBUG)

3. Query for Applet : SIS Account List Applet

4. Change the name to : Account List View

Note:- Need to change the Applet Name to Same as View Name : Account List View

5. Query for View : Account List View

6. In View Web Template Item change the Applet Name from "SIS Account List Applet" to "Account List View"

7. Login to Siebel Application

8. Click on Workspace Icon

9. Click on TestBUG Workspace Name and Click on Open

10. Click on Inspect and CLose the Workspace View

11. Navigate to Accounts ==> Account List

12. Click on Menu/Settings on the top List Applet.Nothing Happened



Changes

 Upgraded Siebel From IP 2013 to Siebel 21.9
