Loyalty Points are not Deducting from Loyalty Program Point Blocks (Doc ID 2832567.1)

Symptoms

Loyalty Points are not deducted from the Loyalty Program 'Point Blocks' and remaining Point Block balance remains the same as that of original balance

The behavior can be reproduced with the steps below:

1. Have a Loyalty Program setup as described in the Siebel Loyalty Guide

2. In Loyalty Program > Point Block, have a Point Block added to the Program as per Siebel Loyalty Guide > Creating Point Blocks for Loyalty Programs

e.g:
Name: ABC Point Block
Original # of Points: 1,000


3. Have a Loyalty Member and create an Accrual Transaction

e.g:
Base Points: 5
Point Type: ABC Point Type


4. Process the Transaction

5. Go to Loyalty Program > Point Block and note that it is still 1,000

e.g:
Name: ABC Point Block
Original # of Points: 1,000
Remaining Points: 1,000

It should be 1,000 - 5 points = 995
