The View Layout Of Any Applet in Base Mode Is Becoming Incorrect After Closing A Pop-up Error (Doc ID 2846880.1)

Symptoms

After changing the Applet Mode from Edit List to Base, navigate to that applet and trigger to show a pop-up error on the GUI, when closing the pop-up the layout is distorted.

Note: The error is expected, as a required field was not completed.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
CONTEXT: Make sure you are using Custom Repository - Set in SMC Enable Safe Boot and Manifest Safe Load to FALSE for Call Center - Doc ID 2816130.1

STEPS | NAVIGATION:

Siebel Web Tools
------
1. Login to Web Tools
2. Create a new workspace.
3. Go to View Web Template > In the Views: Query for Contact Detail View
4. In View Web Template item for Contact Activity List Applet change Applet Mode from Edit List to Base
5. Save the changes.

Siebel Call Center
------
1. Login to Siebel Call Center Application.
2. Go to Contacts > Contacts List > Drill down on a record.
3. Create a new record > from settings menu - New Record - Add First Name and Last Name.
4. Go to Activities Tab > from settings menu - New Record.


5. Clear the text from Type.


6. Go to the Third Level View Bar and select from the drop down list Calls (or any option).


7. An error is thrown: Type field is required. Please enter a value for the field. (SBL-DAT-00498) - this is expected.

8. Close the pop-up with the error.
9. The layout is no longer displayed properly.

Changes

 Modify in Web Template item the Applet Mode from Edit List to Base.
