Getting 404 Error When Access Apex Webpage In Siebel Using Symbolic Url (Doc ID 2859246.1)

Unable to access external Apex webpage in Siebel using symbolic URL

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Prerequisites: Follow documentation - How To Display an External Web Application In a Popup Window Using Symbolic URL? (Doc ID 475305.1) to set up Symbolic URL

1. Log into Siebel application
2. Navigate to the screen that has the symbolic URL configured
3. It navigates to the external site with the error 404 (page not found or file not found error message)
