Symptoms

After upgrading to Siebel 21.x and Oracle 19c Database cluster, there were Siebel logon issues with hanging logon sessions.

The following errors were found in the AI web server logs.

ERRORS

AI - UI.LOG

1180678 70*SBL-SMI-00216: Internal: not an error; all threads are busy1*012*smiworkq.cpp4*16120*0*00

AI - COMMONLOGGER.LOG

[ERROR] 2022-03-22 01:41:21.006 [https-jsse-nio-8443-exec-772] CommonLogger - com.siebel.swsm.store.ConfigStore:getConnString Unable to fetch connect string from cloud gateway.Check system configuration and network connection status

STEPS
-----------------------
1. Upgrade to Oracle 19c Database cluster.
2. Upgrade to Siebel 21.x
3. Monitor new Siebel 21.x Production environment.
4. Observe hanging Siebel 21.x logon sessions.
