Clib.System Command Not Working Post Upgrade from Windows to Linux (Doc ID 2889827.1)

Symptoms

Clib function call used in custom Business Service not working in Linux environment

This behavior is noticed after upgrading Siebel 19.12 on Windows environment to 22.4 on Linux environment

Steps to reproduce the issue:

1. From Business Service simulator, invoke custom Business Service --> Method that builds a strings with shell script file name (full path), user name, password, SQL file to be invoked and corresponding arguments

Command invoked: Clib.system(CommandString)

In the previous Windows environment, CommandString had the value:

 

2. This custom Business Service calls Clib function to execute command that is built in step 1

3. There are no error codes and it is verified that Clib.system function has not run to effect changes


Changes

 Siebel 19.12 on Windows upgraded to Siebel 22.4 on Linux environment
