Siebel CRM 22.4 Web Client Installation Hung At "Applying required configuration settings" (Doc ID 2900990.1)

Symptoms

New installation of Siebel Web Client without configuration checked does not proceed after 'Applying required configuration settings. Please wait...'

In "oraInstall2022-09-14_07-42-43-AM.err" file below errors identified:


java.lang.NullPointerException
at com.oracle.siebel.WizardHandler$1.run(WizardHandler.java:1114)

Problem can be reproducible at with below steps:

------------------------------------------------------

1. Navigate to the Installation dumps location
2. Double Click on the setup.bat file to invoke Siebel Client as a new installation for 22.4
3. Don't select Configuration Check Box. Un-check it and proceed for only binaries installation
