Assignment Manager Is Not Invoked When Called From A Workflow Process In An RR Environment

Symptoms
Assignment Manager is configured to be invoked when saving a Service Request record so that "Owner" field is populated.
However, in RR environments, the Owner field is not populated when saving the record.
Steps to Reproduce:
---------------------
1- Go to Contacts List > drilldown to go to Service Request Tab view
2- Create new record
3- Save it
4- Owner field should be populated, however, Owner remains empty
5- Clicking in the Menu > "Assign" button which is the out of the box process, then it does work and Owner is populated.
