Calendar Items Are Synced Without An Alarm Flag or Outlook Remind (Doc ID 2909237.1)

Symptoms

When creating a calendar appointment record on Siebel with Alarm Flag set to any value or Outlook with Remind set to any value. For some reason after synchronizing the record, the alarm flag or outlook remind is not properly set as shown the screenshot below.

 

For example, the Outlook Calendar record(Reminder issue) was created with remind set for 30 minutes as show below:

 

 

But after getting synchronized, the Alarm Flag are not set as expected as show below:

 

 

 

NOTE: Please note that the same scenario occurs when creating a calendar record with an alarm flag set on the Siebel side and then synchronized to outlook.

 

Step to reproduce the issue:

1.  Login into Siebel App.

2. Go to Calendar and create a new appointment with Alarm Flag checked as show in the screenshot above.

3. Go to Outlook and create a new appointment with Reminder set to any value as show in the screenshot above.

4. Go to Administration - Server Management > Jobs.

5. Create and Submit a Job for "PIMSI Dispatcher".

6. When check Siebel Calendar or Outlook. Both record was synchronized but without the Reminder set or Alarm Flag checked as expected.
