When Attempting to Reconfigure the Component Definition to Change MaxDepthOfTheQuery Parameter SBL-ADM-50004 Error Is Returned (Doc ID 2917514.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to change the MaxDepthOfTheQuery parameter value for a given Object Manager at the component definition level by Reconfiguration and Commit Reconfiguration it does not take the change and reverts back to its default value (500), and the following error is returned on the UI:

SBL-ADM-50004 - Unable to complete reconfiguration due to insufficient process resources. The maximum allowable number of processes is %3, but here are currently %2 processes running for component %4 and %1 additional new processes are required to complete reconfiguration.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to Site Map
2. Navigate to Administration - Server Configuration > Enterprises > Component Definitions
3. Search for the Object Manager in the Component Definitions list applet
4. Click on Advanced button on the lower applet, and search for "Maximum depth of the query" parameter
5. Click on Gear icon on the Component Definitions list applet and choose "Start Reconfiguration"
6. Modify the "Maximum depth of the query" parameter value
7. Click on Gear icon on the Component Definitions list applet and choose "Start Reconfiguration"
8. The modification is reverted
