Inbound REST API Generates A SQL Query That Has BU_ID IS NULL And Thus Does Not Return Any Data (Doc ID 2925115.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 01, 2023

Applies to:

Siebel CRM - Version 17.0 [IP2017] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When sending an Inbound REST API into Siebel application to invoke a workflow process, it should execute a script that queries for Clinical Protocol data and return it. However, in this case, it does not find any records and instead returns a custom script message indicating that such data is not found.

Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

1. Follow the REST guide to set up a Inbound REST to invoke a workflow process:

Using the Siebel REST API to Access Workflows

https://docs.oracle.com/cd/F26413_37/books/RestAPI/c-RestAPI-Using-WF-Access.html#restapi_using

2. Send the inbound rest call into Siebel application using Chrome Postman as the testing tool.

3. The Inbound REST call spawns off an EAI task and runs the workflow process, but a custom error message is generated:
