Disable Multi Tab Session Is Not Working (Doc ID 2935055.1)

Symptoms

After setting the Application Object Manager hidden parameter "EnableMultiTab" to False and in the SMC AI profile  the parameter "Maximum Possible Tabbed Sessions" to one.
In the same window, an application runs and calls Siebel, a new tab is created and Siebel is executed, therefore two Siebel sessions are opened.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

STEPS|NAVIGATION:
1. Login to CallCenter AOM using link:
   https://host:aiport/siebel/app/callcenter/enu

2. Open a new tab in the same browser. Paste the same link:
   https://host:aiport/siebel/app/callcenter/enu

3. The below message is displayed on the interface:


2. Open in Chrome | Firefox | Edge - in all browsers, the same behavior is observed.
3. Open the HTML page and Click on the Open button.
4. A new page with Siebel is opened - login to Siebel.
5. Open a new page with the HTML - another page with Siebel is opened.


In both scenarios the parameter "EnableMultiTab" to False does not work and Siebel opens a second session.

Changes

Set the Application Object Manager hidden parameter "EnableMultiTab" to False.
Set in SMC AI profile parameter "Maximum Possible Tabbed Sessions" to 1.
