IHelp - Highlight Feature Is Not Highlighting List Column Fields In A List Applet But Works Properly In Form Applet (Doc ID 2939120.1)

Symptoms

iHelp is not highlighting list columns in a list applet.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to Administration - ihelp and create a new ihelp item which navigates to a list view (Example: Personal Service Request List View)

2. Drilldown on newly created ihelp and create a new step and expand "Task Step Tree Applet" applet.

3. Select "Field and Button Highlights" and add new records and select any fields or buttons that are available in both Service Request List and Form Applets as shown in below screen shot:

 

4. Activate the ihelp item by clicking Activate button and re-login to application

5. Invoke ihelp item by clicking on ihelp button from application toolbar

 

6. click on ihelp item which navigates to Personal Service Request List View.

7. Notice that ihelp is higlighting all the controls in form applet as expected, but in list applet, only buttons are highlighted but List column fields are not highlighted in list applet

 

Changes

 Configure a new ihelp to navigate to a view and highlight list columns in a list applet.
