Applies to:

Symptoms

Each component task log file is storing additional information even though event log level value of the component is set to 1, due to which operating system disk space is consumed.

With event log level set to minimum value of 1, additional GenericError messages should not be logged.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login to application when object manager component event log level is minimal (1)

2. Notice that the application object manager task log that gets created in application server log directory displays below information for each log file:

3. Since above values are stored for each and every task, this is providing above information, due to which disk space is getting occupied at operating system level and also the information provided is stored under "GenericError category, causing confusion as to why there is an error message in the log.
