How To Set Asset Organization To The Same As the Order Organization? (Doc ID 2958578.1)

How to have the Sales Order Primary Organization set in the Asset when created from during Auto Asset instead of the logged in Users' Organization?


1- Have 2 Organizations under Administration - Group > Organizations:

Default Organization
ABC Organization

2- Have a "User A" associated to the "Default Organization" under Administration - Users > Employees

3- Login as "User A" and navigate to Sales Order to create a new Order

4- When the Order is created, it is associated to the "Default Organization", which is the logged in "User A" Organization

5- Change the Order Organization to "
ABC Organization"

6- Create an Asset from the Order by selecting Auto-Asset from the Menu options

7- In Assets, the Asset Organization is populated with Default Organization ("User A" Organization)

The goal is to have Asset Organization set to "ABC Organization"
