After Setting "EnableMultiTab" To "False" For "Anonymous User" Multiple Tabs Can Still Be Opened (Doc ID 2961173.1)

Symptoms

In a Siebel Portal Application where it is possible to login as an Anonymous User, after disabling Siebel multi tab functionality, it is still possible to have multiple Siebel Sessions opened.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. From Administration - Server Configuration > Servers > Components, have multi-tab disabled by setting the parameters below for the Portal Application Object Manager component

EnableMultiTab = False

AllowAnonUsers = True

LoginView = Home Page View (WCC)

2. Login to the Siebel SMC (Siebel Management Console) and set "Maximum Possible Tabbed Sessions ' = 1 at AI profile

3. Change context.xml file as per Doc ID 2782723.1 mentioned below

4. Open the browser and run the Siebel Portal URL

5. Open another browser tab and run the same Siebel Portal URL - It opens without any issues.
