FullRR Failing At Schema Service Import Step in Target With Error "TrackingId Is Empty" Post Inactivating "Import Executable:Parameter:/Q" BS User Property (Doc ID 2962856.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 22, 2023

Applies to:

Siebel CRM - Version 23.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Migration failing at Schema service import after inactivating /Q user property. Initially to avoid the Schema Import process during migration, created new BS user property as per reference "How To Avoid Automatic Execution Of Schema Service When Running Migration Application? (Doc ID 2624243.1)" which was working fine. To perform the Schema import step during migration again, inactivated this BS user property. Post inactivating user property & delivered changes to RR via Incremental RR, FullRR failing at Schema Import step.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Siebel 23.1 instance enabled with user property to skip Schema Import process during migration as per reference: How To Avoid Automatic Execution Of Schema Service When Running Migration Application? (Doc ID 2624243.1)
2. Post this change, run migrations that were successful

3. Now, the requirement is to disable this user property and run migrations

4. Inactivated the user property by logging into tools -> Create New Dev workspace -> Query for BS:  Migration Schema Service -> Query for User Property : "Import Executable:Parameter:/Q" and Click Check Mark in Inactivate field.

5. Deliver changes to MAIN

6. Perform Incremental Repository Migration to RR

7. Perform FullRR to validate the Schema Import process, but it failed.
