Performance Issues Resulted By The Creation Of Too Many DEV Workspaces Directly Under Main (Doc ID 2971316.1)

Symptoms

An issue was reported with developer workspace delivery in the development environment.
It is taking a lot of time for the changes to get delivered to main workspace.
Upon investigation, it has been determined that there are no long-running queries on the database or other reported issues on the server.

Replication steps:

  1. Log into Siebel WebTools/Tools.
  2. Create a new workspace.
  3. Make a small change (e.g., add a comment).
  4. Attempt to deliver the changes to MAIN.
  5. The delivery will take a long time to be delivered to MAIN.
