Business Object Leak Reported In Application Object Manager Log File For "Task Instance Report Monitor" And "Repository Task" Objects (Doc ID 2975996.1)

Symptoms

Business Object leak reported in Application Object Manager log file for "Task Instance Report Monitor" and "Repository Task" objects.

The issue can be verified in Application Object Manager log file as noted below:

ObjMgrSessionLog Debug 5 000074b464bf1b74:0 <date> Business Object leak: Repository Task
ObjMgrSessionLog Debug 5 000074b464bf1b74:0 <date> Business Object leak: Task Instance Report Monitor


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Log in to Siebel Application Object Manager

2. Test for Scenario A:
- Navigate to Accounts > My Accounts
- Open the task pane and start the first task "CUT Order For Existing Account"
- Give a zip code and the product name to search: Basic VoIP then Next
         - when on the next view click on Previous
         - when in the first view click Cancel and OK
- Log out
 
Look at the log file and search for Business Object leak: Task Instance Report Monitor.
 
3. Test for Scenario B:
- Navigate to Accounts > My Accounts
- Open the task pane and start the first task "CUT Order For Existing Account"
- Give a zip code and the product name to search: Basic VoIP then click Pause and confirm.
- Then in the task pane click on the link to the inbox and drilldown on your task there when you see the task view click on Cancel
- Log out
 
Look at the log file and search for Business Object leak: Repository Task
