Goal

How to Build a Sample Integration Object Input (IO) to Use as a Reference When Calling Outbound Web Services ?

When developing a new REST or SOAP outbound web service, it is common to experience errors caused by an input that does not match the integration object (IO) structure required by the web service.

Some of the possible errors are seen in Errors SBL-EAI-50260 SBL-EAI-50268 SBL-EAI-50278 While Invoking Outbound REST Service in Siebel 20.8 Up To 21.12 (Doc ID 2723633.1) , but that document is not meant to be a comprehensive list of all possible errors.

This document shows how to build outbound web service inputs in BS Simulator without any coding.

It can be useful as a reference while developing a web service call, or troubleshooting.
