Goal

On : 22.4 version, Siebel VB / eScript / COM

Is there a way to retrieve sql server sequence from Siebel to ensure unique numbers.
Currently, solution is to pull from database field and then add one in script, however, sometimes the script is called at the exact time and it returns the same number twice before the script has a chance to increment the number.
