Action Business Component Id Field Is Not Returning The Activity ROW_ID Value (Doc ID 2979831.1)

Symptoms

Action Business Component Id Field is not returning the S_EVT_ACT.ROW_ID.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Siebel Application and Navigate to Administration - Runtime Events ==> Action Sets and create records as shown below


2. Go back to Events and create New record with following details available in image and do Reload Runtime Events from Runtime Events List Applet Menu


3. Navigate to Home Page and click on Weekly Calendar


4. Create New Calendar Activity by clicking on + button, Update Description , Comments Field Values and Save the Record


5. Drilldown on Calendar Description, Change the Status of the Activity and Save the Record

 

6. Check the Calendar Activity Details using Help About record. It will show Row Id in <Activity id> : <Calendar Rep Id> format.

Open browser console execute following line to check the Profile Attribute Value set in Runtime Event Action

SiebelApp.S_App.GetProfileAttr("Activity Id");



Observed that it is returning Repeating Calendar(S_CAL_REPT_EVT) record ROW_ID instead of S_EVT_ACT.ROW_ID

Changes

 Upgrade to IP 16 or Higher version
