Siebel Remote: Generate New Database Job Remains in Queued Status and Task Cannot Be Started (Errors - SBL-SVR-01014, SBL-NET-01023, SBL-SVR-00102) (Doc ID 2981892.1)

Applies to:

Siebel CRM - Version 16.14 [IP2016] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On a Test / Development environment, the Generate New Database (GenNewDB) job remains in 'Queued' status (for more than 2 hours).
No log file was created for GenNewDB neither.

Expectation here would be that under normal conditions, the GenNewDB job should start soon after being submitted.

If trying to start the task using Server Manager (srvgrmgr) command line utility - errors were reported and task would also not start:

srvrmgr:siebsrvr > start task for comp GenNewDB

start task for comp GenNewDB
SBL-ADM-60070: Error reported on server 'siebsrvr' follows:
SBL-SVR-01014: Internal: Could not send the HELLO message: (null)
SBL-NET-01023: Peer disconnected
SBL-SVR-00102: Internal: No more items/objects found.
-----------------------

The steps to replicate that issue:
1. Navigate to Administration - Server Management > Jobs;
2. Create a new record for GenNewDB component and fill in any additional details;
3. Hit the 'Submit' button.
4. Refresh and see that going to 'Queued' status and not being picked to be executed.
5. Start a srvrmgr session and issue command 'start task for comp GenNewDB' - and see above errors.

Changes
