Last updated on DECEMBER 07, 2023

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In the "Marketing Installation and Administration Guide", you can configure the Contact List import functionality to PLS/SQL in the section "Installing Marketing Contact List Import Using PL/SQL".

When following the instructions for "Editing the CallPLSQL Business Service", there are steps to configure business service CallPLSQL to use package callplsql.sql.

Example: Siebel CRM 23.10 Update
Installing and Administering Siebel Marketing > Installing Marketing Contact List Import Using PL/SQL > Editing the CallPLSQL Business Service

The documentation mentions the following as the file location:

The callplsql.sql file is located in the <build folder>/ses>/dbsrvr/oracle/ and <build folder>/ses/siebsvr/sqltempl/ folders.

In another instructions under "Creating the PL/SQL Package on the Database Server Manually", there are steps to create a PL/SQL package using scripts that are in a archive file MktgListImportPkg.tar.

Example: Siebel CRM 23.10 Update
Installing and Administering Siebel Marketing > Installing Marketing Contact List Import Using PL/SQL > Creating the PL/SQL Package on the Database Server Manually

The following is part of the documentation:

Navigate to the /build/ses/dbsrvr/oracle folder, and untar the MktgListImportPkg.tar file to that directory.

However, neither files callplsql.sql nor MktgListImportPkg.tar exist in Siebel installation folder.
