ReadOnly Control Not Working Properly When Drilldown Object Is Defined (Doc ID 2988777.1)

Symptoms

When a Drilldown Object is defined to allow the drilldown to another view, the read only control is not working properly anymore.
Once the Active control of the record is set to TRUE, and CTRL-S is used, some controls (e.g., Opportunity) remain read-only.
When clicking on the pick option and choosing a value from the pick applet, the control becomes editable again.
Without using the pick option, it is not possible to edit the control manually.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1) Go to Quotes → All Quotes in CallCenter (Quotes List View).
2) Select an inactive record (the record must have a previous value in the “Opportunity” control).
3) Set the “Active” control to Checked.
4) Use keyboard shortcut CTRL-S (WriteRecord).
5) The drilldown controls are shown as read-write.
6) Clicking in the Opportunity control has still the read-only behavior (cannot edit the value, grayed out).
7) Step off the record and then back, and the control is editable.
