Siebel Returns "SBL-SEC-10018: No such attribute" Error When Users Are Changing Password In Application's User Preferences View (Doc ID 3005040.1)

Symptoms

When users are attempting to change their password from the application User Preferences view, the following message is returned:

SBL-SEC-10018: No such attribute
SBL-SEC-10010: The requested password does not conform to our password policy. Please review password requirements and select a new password

 Following messages are captured within the detailed AOM log file located in SES_HOME\siebsrvr\log\PartnerPortalObjMgr_enu*.log:

STEPS

1. Install Siebel application
2. Configure LDAP Security Adapter with Active Directory as the user storage system
3. Ensure that PropagateChange parameter is set to TRUE to allow users to manage their passwords
4. Configure an application to authenticate using the previously created security adapter
5. Restart the Enterprise for the Security Adapter changes to take effect
6. Log in to LDAP authenticated application and navigate to Tools -> User Preferences screen
7. Attempt to change your password and notice the error message returned.
