Outbound REST Rejects Input Siebel Message: Invalid Integration Component (SBL-EAI-50294) (Doc ID 3005556.1)

When invoking an outbound REST service the input Siebel Message is not recognized and fails with

Input has invalid array format or wrong integration component, Invalid Integration Component: 'partyPrivacyProfileType'.(SBL-EAI-50294)


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Import MarketingConsentsREST.json in Siebel Tools Web Service wizard to create the proxy business service REST_v1,method REST_v1_Path1:get
2. Use PRM Ani Utility service to create a sample Integration Object structure and pass it as input to the proxy business service.
There is sample code to do this in : Outbound REST Call Produces an Empty Json Message : {} (Doc ID 2949709.1)
3. Once you In Site map -> administration business service -> Simulator, simulate the proxy business service just created.
3. Run the code and notice the error: Input has invalid array format or wrong integration component, Invalid Integration Component: 'partyPrivacyProfileType'.(SBL-EAI-50294)
4. The input is correct though as it contains a valid SiebelMessage produced by PRM ANI Utility and the SiebelHier=Y input.
